Job description
Role overview
This full-time, non-management position is based at Ummahat Islands 2-3, Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. The role sits within the Golf, Fitness, & Entertainment category and is not remote. It involves leading guest-facing recreation and nature-based programs while supporting the safety, comfort, and overall experience of visitors.
What you will do
You will coordinate and run activities for children, teens, adults, families, and groups, including snorkeling, kayaking, underwater photography and videography, botanic park walks, sustainable living education, arts and crafts, and similar experiences. You will also explain facility rules, promote safe participation, watch activity areas carefully, and act quickly and appropriately if an emergency occurs.
The position requires you to recognize situations where a guest should not take part in an activity and escalate concerns to a supervisor or manager. You will need to show awareness of local culture and heritage, prepare materials in advance for each program, ensure the co-naturalist or attendant is ready, and guide the group throughout the activity.
Daily standards and conduct
The job also includes following company policies, protecting confidential information, safeguarding company property, and reporting accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions immediately. You will be expected to complete safety-related training and certifications, welcome guests professionally, respond to service needs, assist people with disabilities, and communicate clearly and politely with guests and colleagues.
Building positive working relationships, meeting quality standards, and suggesting or implementing improvements are part of the role. The work may involve inspecting equipment, standing or walking for long periods, moving across uneven or slippery surfaces, and lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or placing items up to 75 pounds without assistance. Other reasonable duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
The preferred educational background includes a high school diploma or GED, along with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in Environmental Sciences or a related field. A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred, and there is no supervisory experience requirement.
Required certifications
Applicants must hold Lifeguard, Water Safety, CPR, Oxygen, Epi-pen, First Aid, and Food Safety certifications, along with a clean drivers abstract. Any additional certification or training required by local or state authorities must also be met.
About the employer
The employer is committed to equal opportunity and values diversity in background, talent, and experience. The organization emphasizes luxury service, high standards, creativity, thoughtfulness, and compassion, with a strong focus on delivering memorable guest experiences and supporting professional growth within a global hospitality brand.
