Job description
Role Overview
This position supports day-to-day hotel operations through cleaning, sanitation, and movement of equipment and supplies. The role may involve working across areas such as the kitchen, food and beverage, and laundry to keep service areas clean and ready for use.
Key Duties
- Clean and prepare linens, dishes, and other service items so they are ready for guest use.
- Use and care for cleaning equipment such as dishwashers, hand-wash stations, and laundry machines.
- Move dishware, linen, and related items between departments and around the property as needed.
- Support different teams to help maintain smooth hotel operations and shared work goals.
Work Standards
The role requires a strong focus on safety, policy compliance, quality expectations, and a professional appearance and manner of communication. The employee is expected to build positive working relationships, respond to concerns from colleagues, and notify management about accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions.
Physical Requirements
This job involves handling items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, standing, sitting, or walking for long periods, and performing repeated movements such as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
Education and Experience
No school diploma or GED is required. Prior related work experience is not needed, and supervisory experience is not required. No license or certification is necessary.
