Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service tailored to meet customer needs.
- Prepare and package meat products accurately and efficiently.
- Manage and merchandise meat display areas to ensure an attractive presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the meat department.
- Receive and process incoming meat orders promptly.
- Fulfill special order requests for meat products as required.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities.
- Ensure all meat processing complies with company standards and Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) regulations.
- Adhere to and implement all applicable company policies and standards.
- Handle administrative tasks relevant to the meat department.
- Provide technical training and support to new staff and clerks.
- Assist the Meat Manager or act as second in charge when necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of meat department operations and related skills.
- Ability to work independently under fast-paced conditions.
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 12 months of relevant meat cutting or retail experience.

Travel and Workplace
