Position Overview

If you enjoy baking or the aroma of fresh baked items, our bakery offers a nurturing atmosphere to advance your skills. You will provide daily bakery essentials and specialty cakes while engaging in "from scratch" baking, honing your craft regularly. Our bakery team members gain exposure to diverse retailing aspects and career advancement opportunities, all within a safe and quality-conscious workplace supported by ongoing training.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support bakery operations and team members effectively.
• Ensure adherence to the highest standards of food safety and quality.
• Assist in daily baking activities using traditional and from-scratch recipes.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and manage customer interactions.
• Participate in inventory control and stock management to maintain product availability.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience working in bakery retail environments is required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service capabilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety protocols related to bakery and retail settings is beneficial.
• Post-secondary education is an advantage.
• Registered apprentice or certified journeyman baker status is a valuable asset.
• Flexible availability to work day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Compensation and Benefits
