Role Overview
The Senior Costing Advisor will play a critical role in creating accurate and reliable cost estimates for revenue and commercial deals, projects, and significant policy initiatives. This position also involves conducting thorough post-cost assessments to compare estimated costs against actual expenditures, ensuring budget alignment and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed and precise costings for various commercial arrangements and policy developments.
- Perform post-cost reviews to evaluate the accuracy of preliminary costing projections.
- Ensure all costings align with relevant government policies and frameworks.
Requirements and Skills
- Proficient understanding of the Australian Government Charging Framework (AGCF) and Budget Process Operating Rules (BPORs).
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret financial data accurately.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
