Senior Costing Advisor

Role Overview

The Senior Costing Advisor will play a critical role in creating accurate and reliable cost estimates for revenue and commercial deals, projects, and significant policy initiatives. This position also involves conducting thorough post-cost assessments to compare estimated costs against actual expenditures, ensuring budget alignment and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop detailed and precise costings for various commercial arrangements and policy developments.
• Perform post-cost reviews to evaluate the accuracy of preliminary costing projections.
• Ensure all costings align with relevant government policies and frameworks.

Requirements and Skills

• Proficient understanding of the Australian Government Charging Framework (AGCF) and Budget Process Operating Rules (BPORs).
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret financial data accurately.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
