Role Overview

The Senior Costing Advisor will play a critical role in creating accurate and reliable cost estimates for revenue and commercial deals, projects, and significant policy initiatives. This position also involves conducting thorough post-cost assessments to compare estimated costs against actual expenditures, ensuring budget alignment and financial accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Develop detailed and precise costings for various commercial arrangements and policy developments.
Perform post-cost reviews to evaluate the accuracy of preliminary costing projections.
Ensure all costings align with relevant government policies and frameworks.

Requirements and Skills

Proficient understanding of the Australian Government Charging Framework (AGCF) and Budget Process Operating Rules (BPORs).
Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret financial data accurately.
Excellent communication and problem-solving capabilities.
Ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities under strict deadlines.
