Job description

Role Overview

This position is for a cybersecurity presales specialist based in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on shaping security solutions for customers, supporting the sales cycle, and helping convert technical requirements into well-designed proposals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect with customers to uncover their security challenges and business requirements.
  • Translate customer needs into suitable cybersecurity solution proposals.
  • Assist with RFPs, RFQs, proposal creation, and technical presentations.
  • Partner with the sales team to develop opportunities and move them through the pipeline.
  • Run demonstrations, workshops, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and technology partners to ensure solution fit and alignment.
  • Support a clean transition to the delivery team once the opportunity is closed.

Solution Scope

  • Network security, including firewalls, SASE, and Zero Trust.
  • Endpoint security such as EDR and XDR.
  • Identity and access management.
  • Email and cloud protection.
  • Data protection solutions.
  • SIEM, SOC, and managed security services.

Experience and Skills

  • At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity presales or security consulting.
  • Strong grasp of enterprise security architectures and solution design.
  • Comfortable leading technical conversations with customers.
  • Experience working with vendors and aligning their solutions.
  • Prior exposure to the UAE market, especially Abu Dhabi, is an added advantage.

Preferred Certifications

  • Security credentials such as CISSP, CISM, or a similar certification are preferred.
  • Certifications from vendors such as Fortinet, Check Point, Netskope, Palo Alto, Cisco, or Microsoft are a plus.

Core Competencies

  • Clear communication and strong presentation ability.
  • Customer-centric thinking with a practical problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to collaborate with sales teams and manage several active opportunities.
  • Basic commercial awareness of solutions and proposal structuring.

Location

This role is based in Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates, at SSTC.
