The schedule can be arranged as four longer days or five shorter days, but Tuesday through Thursday must be included in the workweek. Core availability is required from 10:00 AM ET to 2:00 PM ET for at least two days per week. Some travel will be needed, and the role does not include supervisory responsibilities.
Core responsibilities
The position covers policy management, payroll coordination, hiring support, onboarding and offboarding, employee experience initiatives, and HR data administration. The manager will also help maintain compliance across multiple jurisdictions, support staff development processes, and contribute to organizational planning and retreats. Additional related duties may be assigned as business needs evolve.

Hiring, onboarding, and offboarding

Employee experience and development
The People Operations Manager will partner with leadership to strengthen employee engagement, retention, performance management, coaching, and professional development efforts. The role will also support planning and execution of virtual staff retreats and review people analytics to identify improvement opportunities.
Compensation and benefits
The pay rate for this role is $33.65 per hour for 20-25 hours per week. Part-time benefits include a monthly health care stipend, a work laptop and other required equipment, and generous paid time off. PTO includes wellness leave, a week off between Christmas and New Year’s, Summer Fridays, and all major holidays. Benefits may change at the organization’s discretion.
