This position suits someone who is highly organized, detail-focused, comfortable working in a fast-changing environment, and interested in streamlining work through better processes, reporting, and automation.
Key responsibilities

- Manage onboarding workflows and related ticketing activities, including Jira tickets for new employees, onboarding tasks, and leave-of-absence items.
- Support orientation sessions for new hires and complete Form I-9 checks in line with compliance standards.
- Calculate severance details accurately, align them with internal policy, and coordinate with Payroll on state-specific payment requirements.
- Maintain precise employee records for hires, promotions, internal moves, terminations, and other changes during the employee lifecycle.
- Keep personnel files and supporting documents organized and compliant, including I-9 and work authorization or visa records where applicable.
- Ensure storage systems and personnel folders remain complete, orderly, and properly retained.
- Act as a primary administrator for the People team’s technology tools, including Paylocity, Lattice, Nectar, and Asana.
- Support HRIS setup, workflow improvements, troubleshooting, and guidance for employees and managers.
- Update leave-of-absence information in Paylocity, including status and reason codes, and create the matching Jira tickets.
- Assist with Lattice program administration such as engagement surveys, OLA, Emerge, and 4box.
- Help with benefits administration tasks, including benefit election approvals, headcount support, and invoice reconciliation.
- Create and maintain employee reports to support compliance, business operations, and workforce planning.
- Review onboarding feedback and employee experience data, identify patterns, and suggest improvements to processes.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools for workforce and compliance needs.
- Coordinate focus groups based on engagement survey results, interpret findings, and share practical recommendations with the business.
- Monitor the People inbox and route requests appropriately.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience using HRIS platforms and managing employee data in a People Operations or HR setting.
- Solid understanding of employee lifecycle activities such as onboarding, record changes, documentation, and transitions, along with HRIS best practices.
- Basic knowledge of benefits plans and benefit structures.
- Strong Excel ability, including reporting and reconciliation work.
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, follow-through, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
- Preferred familiarity with Asana, Lattice, and Paylocity.
- Preferred background in process automation or workflow improvement.
- Preferred exposure to compensation cycles and market benchmarking.
Compensation and benefits
The base salary for this role is $66,870 to $80,000 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. Final pay depends on several factors, including experience, qualifications, education, certifications or licenses, role level, business needs, and market conditions.
Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, wellness support, 401(k) matching, Open PTO, work-from-anywhere flexibility, generous parental leave, and additional offerings.
