Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site position in Coimbatore for a Performance Management Specialist. The role is responsible for building, rolling out, and improving performance management systems, policies, and workflows that support organizational goals. You will lead goal-setting cycles, manage appraisal processes, and help ensure performance standards are applied consistently across teams. The position also involves reviewing performance data, preparing reports and leadership insights, and suggesting actions such as coaching, training, and development plans. In addition, you will work with HR, finance, and business leaders to connect performance results with rewards, career growth, and workforce planning while contributing to better productivity and employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create, implement, and continuously improve performance management frameworks, policies, and processes.
  • Plan and coordinate goal-setting and performance review cycles across the organization.
  • Support and administer appraisal processes to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Study performance data, identify trends, and prepare reports with actionable insights for leadership.
  • Recommend appropriate interventions such as coaching, training, and development plans.
  • Partner with HR, finance, and business unit heads to align performance outcomes with rewards, promotions, and planning decisions.
  • Promote standard, equitable, and inclusive performance practices across teams.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of performance management and appraisal processes, including end-to-end cycle execution.
  • Strong analytical ability to work with both numbers and qualitative information and translate findings into practical recommendations.
  • Project and program coordination skills to manage performance-related initiatives across multiple teams.
  • Working knowledge of finance concepts to relate performance measures to budgets, incentives, and business outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a similar discipline; additional HR or performance management certifications are considered beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms, performance management systems, and MS Excel or comparable analytics tools; exposure to software or technology services is an added advantage.
  • Ability to handle confidential information carefully and make balanced, fair judgments.
