About The Role
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, L.L.C. is seeking a dedicated Lifeguard to join their team in Tabuk, Amaala, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, onsite position is responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests in recreational water areas. Responsibilities
- Implement appropriate rescue techniques when observing swimmers in distress.
- Monitor swimming areas for potential hazards, unsafe activities, and guests who may be struggling.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to ensure guest safety.
- Identify situations where guests may be at risk and report them to supervisors.
- Provide immediate assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
- Contribute to a positive and relaxing atmosphere for all guests.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of pool decks, including folding and stacking towels.
- Perform regular cleaning duties such as washing and mopping pool decks.
- Report all accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions promptly to management.
- Complete all required safety training and certifications.
- Adhere strictly to company policies and procedures, maintaining the confidentiality of proprietary information and protecting company assets.
- Greet and assist all guests according to established company standards.
- Ensure a professional appearance through a clean uniform and personal grooming.
- Anticipate and address guest service needs proactively.
- Assist guests with disabilities.
- Express genuine appreciation to guests.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and guests.
- Support team members and treat everyone with dignity and respect.
- Meet quality assurance expectations and standards.
- Visually inspect tools and equipment for defects.
- Maintain the physical pace required for the role, including running, walking, and jogging as needed.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or entire work shifts.
- Safely lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds independently, and over 75 pounds with assistance.
- Utilize fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects of various sizes and weights.
- Navigate uneven, slippery, or sloping surfaces, as well as ladders and stairs.
- Perform reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping motions.
- Undertake other reasonable job duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- No prior related work experience is required.
- No prior supervisory experience is necessary.
- Must possess current CPR Certification.
- Must possess current First Aid Certification.
- Familiarity with fitness equipment is beneficial.
- Completion of any certifications or training mandated by local and state agencies.

This role is classified as Non-Management. The position is located in Tabuk, Amaala, Saudi Arabia, and is not a remote position.
