Role overview
Crothall Healthcare is looking to add a full-time Laundry Service team member in Bessemer, Alabama. The role supports healthcare-focused operations by handling linens, assisting clients, and contributing to smooth day-to-day laundry services.
Location and schedule
The position is based at Oaks on Parkwood, 2651 Laurel Oaks Drive, Bessemer, AL 35022. Online applications are the only accepted method. The shift runs Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm, with additional details to be discussed during the interview.
Compensation
Pay is set between $11.00 and $12.00 per hour.

Job summary
This position focuses on processing laundry, distributing clean linens, and keeping the work area organized and sanitary. The role also includes professional interaction with clients, customers, and coworkers, along with support for broader team goals.
Key duties
- Sort, wash, and dry linens by following the approved laundry process.
- Fold, count, and stack linens according to established procedures.
- Gather soiled linen and help replenish clean linen where needed.
- Move clean and dirty linen supplies to the correct storage and collection locations.
- Deliver attentive customer service through direct, detail-oriented support.
- Check linens regularly for damage and follow the standard procedure for worn or torn items.
- Keep commercial and residential laundry spaces clean, tidy, and sanitary.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- No prior experience is required; training will be provided.
- Candidate must be able to perform the essential job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Some positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
