Housekeeper (Full Time)

About the Role

Crothall Healthcare is looking to add full-time Housekeepers at Culpeper Medical Center in Culpeper, Virginia. The position supports a healthcare environment where cleanliness, safety, and attention to detail are essential.

Schedule and Location

This is a full-time, on-site role based at Culpeper Medical Center, 501 Sunset Lane, Culpeper, VA 22701. The usual shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with rotating weekends and varying days; additional scheduling details will be shared during the interview. Online applications are accepted only.

Pay

The role offers an hourly wage between $16.00 and $19.00.

What You Will Do

The housekeeping team helps maintain a clean, orderly environment across the facility and supports a positive experience for patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Deliver attentive, one-on-one customer service with a strong focus on detail.
• Sweep, scrub, mop, and polish floors as needed.
• Vacuum carpets, rugs, and draperies.
• Shampoo carpets, rugs, and upholstered surfaces.
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and fittings.
• Clean metal fixtures and related surfaces.
• Empty trash receptacles and keep them clean.
• Dispose of waste in a safe and sanitary manner.
• Clean sinks, mirrors, tubs, and showers.
• Wipe glass surfaces clean.
• Make beds and replace linens when required.
• Rearrange furniture and amenities according to the prescribed setup.
• Respond to guest questions and service requests.
• Handle housekeeping issues such as spills or broken glass.
• Work cooperatively with teammates and maintain a professional approach with customers and coworkers.
• Take on other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

• Prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services is preferred.
• Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Some positions may require Florida Level 2 background screening.
• Applicants should be willing to work a rotating weekend schedule.
• Must be able to comply with a drug-free workplace policy.
