Janitorial Cleaner - Dougherty County

Role Summary

ABM Industries is hiring a dependable Janitorial Cleaner to help keep assigned facilities clean, safe, and organized. This position is important for preserving a professional look and sanitary conditions throughout the workplace, supporting a positive experience for employees, clients, and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Carry out everyday cleaning work such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing floors and other surfaces.
• Disinfect restrooms, restock consumables, and make sure hygiene standards are maintained.
• Remove trash and recycling and dispose of waste according to company guidelines.
• Clean glass surfaces including windows and mirrors.
• Properly care for, organize, and store cleaning tools and supplies.
• Notify the supervisor about maintenance concerns, safety risks, or low supply levels.
• Support room setups and post-event cleanups for meetings, events, or special assignments when required.
• Adhere to all safety rules and sanitation procedures set by the company.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Prior work in janitorial, custodial, or general cleaning positions is an advantage.
• Ability to work on your own and use time well.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety practices is helpful.
• Strong focus on detail and consistent quality is important.
