You will handle daily IT issues, manage employee onboarding and offboarding procedures, and maintain the security and accuracy of IT assets and access permissions. Furthermore, you will contribute to enhancing internal documentation, automating IT processes, and scaling IT operations. Collaboration with engineering, operations, and security teams will be key to supporting compliance, system stability, and user satisfaction. This opportunity is perfect for individuals passionate about resolving technical challenges, establishing efficient processes, and supporting a collaborative, remote-first organization.

Accountabilities

  • Deliver Tier 1 IT support by diagnosing and resolving issues with hardware, software, SaaS applications, account access, and collaboration tools, escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Manage the complete lifecycle of employee onboarding and offboarding, including setting up accounts, controlling access, configuring devices, retrieving equipment, and updating records.
  • Administer the IT hardware lifecycle, encompassing inventory management, deployment, collection, replacement, and ensuring asset record accuracy.
  • Develop and enhance IT documentation, such as knowledge base articles, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guides, to promote self-service and operational consistency.
  • Support IT compliance initiatives, including access reviews and audits, to uphold security and governance standards.
  • Assist with IT purchasing and expense management, ensuring precise tracking and reconciliation of expenditures and vendor interactions.
  • Perform Jira administration duties, including modifying workflows, updating configurations, and managing user accounts.
  • Create and disseminate clear IT communications regarding system status, updates, and procedural changes to end-users.
  • Contribute to legal hold procedures by coordinating data and device preservation efforts with relevant parties.

Requirements

  • Possess at least one year of experience in IT support, help desk operations, IT administration, or a similar role.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities for hardware, operating systems (macOS and/or Windows), SaaS applications, and enterprise collaboration platforms.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical matters in an easily understandable manner.
  • Show strong organizational capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Prior experience with onboarding/offboarding processes and IT asset management is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Google Workspace, Slack, and comparable SaaS platforms is beneficial.
  • Previous exposure to IT compliance activities such as access reviews, audits, or security protocols is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base content.
  • Hold a degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or possess relevant certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, available to work EST hours, with potential for up to 10% travel.

Benefits

  • Receive competitive remuneration commensurate with your skills and industry standards.
  • Work within a remote-first culture, collaborating with distributed teams globally.
  • Gain the opportunity to support a significant, mission-focused organization operating in critical sectors.
  • Access comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
  • Benefit from professional growth opportunities, including training and certification support.
  • Acquire experience with contemporary SaaS tools and large-scale IT operations.
  • Be part of a structured onboarding process, a culture that values internal documentation, and an IT environment built on defined processes.
  • Opportunities for travel, up to 10%, for team collaboration and operational support.
