Job description

Role overview

This opportunity is being shared on behalf of a partner employer, which will handle all applications and the remaining hiring steps. The role is for a Senior Specialist, Knowledge Management in the United Arab Emirates.

The position focuses on improving how institutional knowledge is gathered, organized, maintained, and used within a fast-moving Trust and Safety environment. The aim is to convert scattered documents, operational expertise, and policy references into a dependable knowledge framework that supports accurate decisions at scale.

You will bring order to complex information so that key resources remain current, easy to find, and aligned with day-to-day operations. The role requires close collaboration with policy, operations, quality assurance, and subject matter experts to keep knowledge continuously updated and practical for global teams.

This is a highly dynamic, globally distributed setting that calls for strong ownership, the ability to influence without authority, and comfort working through uncertainty. The role has a direct effect on the consistency, speed, and reliability of Trust and Safety operations worldwide. It combines knowledge systems design with change management, shaping how information is created, shared, and sustained across the organization.

Key responsibilities

  • Review the current knowledge landscape, identify missing pieces, outdated material, contradictions, and other documentation issues across policy, compliance, and operations.
  • Create and manage the information structure that determines how knowledge is organized, stored, retrieved, and governed across teams.
  • Set standards for documentation, including templates, version control, content lifecycle rules, and quality benchmarks.
  • Track dependencies across knowledge assets so changes in source material are reflected correctly in downstream documents and workflows.
  • Use interviews, workshops, and focused documentation sessions to capture expertise that is currently undocumented or held informally by subject matter experts.
  • Work with QA and operations teams to create feedback loops that expose recurring mistakes and gaps in frontline knowledge.
  • Support the long-term quality of the knowledge base through recurring reviews, audits, and lifecycle management practices.
  • Collaborate with training and operational leaders so that updated knowledge is translated into day-to-day execution across global teams.
  • Define and monitor metrics such as content freshness, search performance, coverage gaps, and onboarding effectiveness.
  • Serve as the main coordination point for knowledge movement across distributed Trust and Safety teams.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in knowledge management, content strategy, program management, or a similar field.
  • Background in Trust and Safety, content moderation, or platform integrity environments is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to review, reorganize, and improve complicated or fragmented knowledge systems.
  • Comfort working with ambiguity, incomplete inputs, and changing priorities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions.
  • Experience building documentation systems, governance models, and content lifecycle frameworks.
  • Analytical thinking with a sharp eye for inconsistencies, risks, and operational consequences.
  • Ability to work independently in a distributed global environment.
  • Highly organized, accountable, and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Quick learner with a proactive approach and solid follow-through on complex work.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Comprehensive medical coverage.
  • Flexible work arrangements with a remote-friendly setup.
  • Strong emphasis on learning, development, and career growth.
  • Mental health and wellness support.
  • Parental leave and family-supportive policies.
  • Financial and operational support for hybrid or remote work environments.
  • Chance to contribute to meaningful safety and integrity work with high impact.
  • Inclusive, collaborative global culture.
  • Opportunities for volunteering and community engagement.

Additional information

This listing notes that the partner employer manages the application process and all subsequent steps. Applications are evaluated through an AI-supported matching process designed to review candidates quickly, consistently, and fairly against the role’s main requirements. The strongest matches are shared with the hiring company, while interviews, assessments, and final decisions are handled internally by the employer.

By submitting an application, candidates acknowledge that personal data will be processed to assess suitability and may be shared with the hiring employer under applicable data protection rules, including GDPR where relevant. The process may also use AI tools to support screening, resume analysis, response review, and consistency checks. These tools assist recruitment efforts but do not replace human judgment, and final hiring decisions remain with people. Applicants may request more details about data processing and exercise rights such as access, correction, deletion, and objection.
