Role Overview
The District Manager for Louisiana will be responsible for driving execution across the district with a strong focus on profitable sales, service quality, merchandising placement, partner relationships, and inventory control. The ideal candidate may be based in the New Orleans or Baton Rouge, LA area.
This position reports to a Regional Manager and oversees execution across approximately 1 to 4 U.S. states. The role includes leading a team of 20 to 30 Mobile Merchandisers and 1 to 2 District Mobile Merchandisers, while owning operational processes, visual merchandising standards, and the overall service experience across multiple points of sale.
Key Responsibilities
The District Manager is expected to balance performance, planning, partner management, and people leadership to ensure strong district outcomes.
Performance and Profitability
- Deliver steady results across sales, cost, operations, and talent-related objectives.
- Spot business issues early and create action plans to keep district sales on target.
- Review controllable expenses and key financial and operational metrics, then adapt plans based on what the data shows.
- Maintain the proper stock levels at each site using beeline's processes, systems, and tools.
Resource Planning and Business Insights
- Organize services in a cost-conscious way to support sales growth and better use of resources.
- Study weekly sales performance to build accurate district and operational schedules that support KPI achievement.
- Plan, monitor, and revise weekly team schedules based on business requirements.
- Keep district staffing levels aligned with operational needs and adjust as needed.
Business Partnerships
- Develop productive relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and store-level leadership.
- Share market intelligence so the business stays aware of trends, concerns, and issues that could affect the district, region, or company.
- Negotiate and secure the best possible beeline placement at each point of sale.
Team Leadership
- Guide the team through clear communication, regular feedback, and fair performance-based actions while ensuring SOP and policy compliance.
- Hire, onboard, and train new team members.
- Carry out performance reviews.
- Lead remote team members effectively through consistent communication and reference tools.
Success Milestones
- Within the first 30 days, build an understanding of the culture and assess the team and partner relationships through one-on-one interactions.
- Within 30 to 60 days, evaluate the team and market, then create a roadmap to close business execution gaps.
- Within 60 to 90 days, implement a workforce recruitment and succession plan to ensure the team is fully trained and operating efficiently.
Experience and Working Style
- Prior experience leading a remote team where technology is used to perform core job duties.
- Background managing and developing district support roles and teams.
- Comfort working in positions that involve moderate to heavy travel.
- Proven ability to follow a structured, process-driven approach to operational, administrative, and talent goals.
- Experience in client-facing settings with multiple customers or partners at the same time.
- Working knowledge of a company-issued device.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
