The organization values passion, accountability, and teamwork, and is seeking an experienced HRIS Specialist to support its growing operations in the United States.
Role overview
This is a remote, salaried exempt position based in the US. The HRIS Specialist will report to the Senior Manager, HRIS and work closely with global partners as needed. The role is focused on HR administration and system processes across employee records, compliance, compensation, and benefits.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain highly accurate HR system records for hires, exits, and employee changes, including data integrity checks and updates.
- Produce and maintain HR reports, identify reporting gaps, and build ad hoc SAP queries to support analysis and business needs.
- Investigate and resolve employee or team-member questions and system-related issues.
- Support compensation reviews, payroll administration, and related HR activities.
- Prepare HR communications and may deliver presentations on HR-related topics.
- Lead small to medium implementation efforts and create supporting documentation, often handling two to three smaller projects at the same time.
- Collect information, analyze data, and prepare basic to intermediate reports and presentations for the organization.
- Create step-by-step process guides with screenshots for critical HR activities and coordinate cross-training for end users on HR systems.
- Participate in testing, reviewing, and rolling out HR system upgrades in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
- Deliver strong internal service aligned with the company culture.
- Manage Zendesk tickets within agreed service-level timelines.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of management.
- Handle additional duties as assigned.
What success looks like
Within the first 30 days, the role should build a strong grasp of employee data systems and workflows. By the first 90 days, the candidate should understand how decisions are made between the SBU and ISC headquarters teams.
Required experience and tools
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior exposure to SAP is preferred.
- Salesforce experience is also preferred.
