In this role, you will own a portfolio of business customers and guide each account through the full commercial journey. The position blends account ownership, renewals, sales enablement, and commercial operations, with a strong focus on customer retention, growth, and long-term satisfaction. You will work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams in a remote-first setting, using data, technology, and improved processes to deliver efficient commercial outcomes. This role is well suited to someone commercially driven who enjoys relationship building, handling complex account portfolios, and supporting cloud and SaaS growth.

Core accountabilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts and act as the main contact across the full lifecycle, including qualification, pricing, quotations, negotiation, contract handling, renewals, and expansion.
  • Build and implement engagement plans based on account value, risk profile, and growth potential, while keeping portfolio processes efficient at scale.
  • Strengthen retention and customer satisfaction by spotting upsell and cross-sell opportunities through product usage, customer feedback, and business requirements.
  • Support renewals across a wider customer base to maintain contract continuity, revenue consistency, and timely risk management.
  • Partner with sales teams on larger opportunities by providing pricing input, commercial advice, documentation support, and vendor-related knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain consistent commercial packages, pricing models, and solution bundles that align with business goals and vendor expectations.
  • Draft and manage commercial paperwork such as quotations, order forms, contracts, statements of work, and related agreements.
  • Assist presales work through proposal preparation, opportunity qualification, solution packaging, and commercial scoping.
  • Liaise with technology vendors and partners on pricing programs, incentives, approvals, licensing conditions, and commercial opportunities.
  • Convert complex pricing structures, licensing terms, and vendor policies into practical guidance for both customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in account management, customer success, renewals, sales support, or another client-facing commercial position.
  • Demonstrated success in independently managing customer relationships and commercial results from first contact through renewal and growth.
  • Hands-on experience with pricing conversations, quotations, negotiation, contract workflows, and retention efforts.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage a busy portfolio and multiple competing responsibilities.
  • Exposure to technology, cloud offerings, SaaS products, licensing structures, or partner networks is highly preferred.
  • Experience using CRM systems, spreadsheets, reporting tools, and data-led decision-making.
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management ability, with experience working across sales, finance, operations, and external partners.
  • Analytical thinking with the ability to identify risks, opportunities, and ways to improve processes.
  • Self-driven and comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote setup.
  • Interest in automation, operational efficiency, and using technology to improve workflows and customer experience.

Perks and benefits

  • Fully remote working arrangement with flexibility to work from anywhere in Europe.
  • Full-time role with the chance to contribute immediately to an established customer portfolio.
  • Strong ownership and autonomy over accounts and commercial decisions.
  • Exposure to major global cloud and technology ecosystems, including leading vendors and partner programs.
  • Opportunity to work with international customers and cross-functional teams.
  • An existing portfolio, renewal pipeline, and commercial structure are already in place, enabling quick impact.
  • A fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment that rewards initiative, accountability, and results.
  • Good scope for professional growth and career progression as the business expands.
  • Collaborative team culture centered on innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing.
  • An AI-enabled workplace that encourages automation and smarter ways of working to boost productivity and impact.
