About the role
TouchPoint Support Services is looking to fill barista roles immediately for both full-time and part-time shifts at Ascension St. John Broken Arrow in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. The position is based at 1000 West Boise Circle, Broken Arrow, OK 74012. Only online applications are being considered.
Schedule
This opportunity is available on full-time and part-time schedules, Monday through Friday, between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Additional shift details will be shared during the interview process.
Compensation
The pay for this role is between $15.00 and $16.50 per hour.
Role summary
The barista will prepare and serve coffee, espresso beverages, and related food and drink items while following food safety standards and delivering a courteous customer experience. The role also includes handling transactions, keeping the service area organized, and ensuring food and beverages are presented properly.
Key duties
- Prepare espresso-based drinks and customer orders using standard portions and recipes.
- Enter orders correctly into the POS system and accept both cash and card payments.
- Restock condiments, beverages, and general supplies while keeping the counter area clean.
- Maintain correct presentation, portion sizes, and serving temperatures in line with HACCP guidelines.
- Keep utensils, tools, and equipment sanitized and organized.
- Use approved recipes and production standards when preparing food items.
- Clean display cases and remove debris throughout meal service.
- Thoroughly clean the workstation and equipment before moving to other duties.
- Welcome customers politely and help ensure a positive service experience.
- Share customer concerns with supervisors when needed.
- Serve guests quickly and efficiently to avoid delays in the line.
- Understand daily menu items well enough to explain them clearly to customers.
- Support sales by communicating well and helping customers choose items.
- Arrange display foods attractively and serve them according to standards.
- Complete other assigned tasks as needed.
