The right candidate is comfortable juggling several priorities, staying organized, solving routine problems, and contributing to a welcoming workplace. If you are attentive to detail, take initiative, and enjoy supporting others, this could be a strong fit.
Core duties
- Support managers and team members with a wide range of administrative tasks.
- Keep calendars up to date, arrange meetings, and set appointments.
- Handle incoming calls and emails and route questions to the correct contact.
- Draft, revise, and organize documents, reports, and presentations.
- Maintain office files, records, and other documentation in an orderly manner.
- Assist with entering data accurately and keeping records current.
- Help coordinate travel plans, meeting arrangements, and events when required.
- Track office supplies and equipment, including ordering and restocking as needed.
- Greet visitors and help maintain a polished, professional front office experience.
- Assist with special assignments and other general administrative needs.
Qualifications
Applicants should have at least a high school diploma or equivalent; further administrative education or training is considered an advantage. Prior experience in office administration, administrative support, or customer service is preferred.
Strong organization, time management, written and verbal communication, and attention to detail are important for success in this role. Candidates should also be comfortable using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, along with other common office software.
Because the job may involve sensitive information, the ability to handle confidential material responsibly is essential. You should also be able to work independently when needed while still contributing effectively as part of a team.
