Role Overview
As a Software Support Engineer, you will serve as the essential link connecting the engineering team with on-the-ground operations across African countries. Your responsibilities will entail diagnosing technical challenges and delivering production-ready code improvements primarily using Python and SQL, ensuring a smooth operational experience for thousands of informal retail outlets. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting combined with collaboration across diverse cultures to facilitate digital modernization.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage quality assurance and testing pipelines by creating automated test suites that minimize regressions and promote platform stability worldwide.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Brings 2 to 3 years of experience in engineering, product, or technical support roles, preferably in dynamic startup environments.
- Has intermediate skills in Python (Flask) and SQL (PostgreSQL), alongside a strong eagerness to explore codebases and infrastructure hosted on AWS.
- Possesses excellent communication abilities to effectively translate technical details for diverse non-technical stakeholders across different cultures and time zones.
