Role Summary

The Utility Support Services Associate is responsible for ensuring cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen, galley, and common areas. This position maintains equipment, utensils, and work zones in an orderly state, supporting hygiene and operational efficiency.

Primary Duties

• Deliver attentive and courteous customer service.
• Maintain superior sanitary conditions complying with company, client, and regulatory standards.
• Organize cleaning and work schedules efficiently.
• Inform management about purchasing needs to reduce waste and avoid shortages.
• Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment; promptly report any issues.
• Handle laundry tasks including sorting, counting, folding linens, and making beds.
• Clean various facility areas such as lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, and staircases.
• Perform floor maintenance including sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing.
• Manage trash removal and disposal tasks.
• Restock bathroom and dining area supplies as needed.
• Inventory supplies to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Clean and sanitize dining and galley zones.
• Disassemble and clean steam tables.
• Wash cookware, dishes, and utensils thoroughly.
• Replenish condiments and other stock items regularly.
• Prepare food items when applicable.
• Prepare beverages such as coffee, juice, and tea.
• Contribute positively to team efforts and maintain professionalism.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Preferred Experience and Training

Previous related experience is preferred but not required as training will be provided.

Schedule and Location

Full-time employment with varying shifts including some weekends and holidays. Position is based at Baptist Desoto, Southaven, MS, with applications accepted online only.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay ranges from $14.00 to $16.00 per hour.
