About the Opportunity
This role is for an experienced HR leader who can guide people operations through a period of rapid growth. You’ll take ownership of the employee journey from start to finish, work closely with leadership, and help create scalable processes that support a strong team experience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Oversee compliance across multiple states, run payroll end to end in Rippling, and keep records organized and audit-ready.
- Lead recruiting efforts from drafting job descriptions through onboarding exceptional hires.
- Support employee programs by administering benefits, improving engagement, and encouraging professional growth.
- Act as the main HR partner for managers by coaching them on policy, performance, and people issues.
Key Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in human resources, including at least 2 years in a generalist role handling several functions.
- Strong understanding of California and Arizona employment laws is required.
- Experience with Rippling HRIS is preferred.
- Background in a fast-growing or startup environment is preferred.
- You must be available to work full time during Pacific Time business hours.
- Experience in healthcare or another regulated industry is highly desirable.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is needed; HR certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion are essential.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range is $65,000 to $75,000. The package also includes health coverage, a 401(k), generous paid time off, and a remote-first setup.
