Job Overview
The role of Cashier is essential in delivering fast, courteous, precise, and secure service to customers. Cashiers handle checkout and return transactions and oversee the Self-Checkout area. They actively enhance their knowledge of products and projects to assist customers and identify sales opportunities. Adherence to all company policies and procedures is necessary to reduce shrinkage.
Head Cashier Responsibilities
Head Cashiers guide and organize Cashiers by expediting price verifications and authorizing transactions and markdowns across multiple service areas including main registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental. They serve as the primary escalation point for customer concerns and support the training and coaching of front-end staff by leading new Cashier training and utilizing coaching tools to develop abilities.
Qualifications
The preferred experience for the Head Cashier role is a minimum of one year working as a Cashier.
