About Auckland Museum

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Head of Safety and Visitor Services, this position entails shared leadership over a large frontline team composed of Visitor Hosts and the Bookings Team. This fast-paced leadership role drives a world-class visitor experience aligned with the Museum’s core values, policies, and sector best practices.

This is a permanent full-time position with working days from Tuesday through Saturday. Flexibility around scheduling may occasionally be necessary.

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • Practical knowledge of best practices in customer experience delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within customer service, human resources, events, or GLAM (Galleries, Libraries, Archives, Museums) sectors, ideally within a museum environment.
