Role Overview
Join our managed services team as an experienced Infrastructure Support Senior Analyst, responsible for supporting vital client environments across multiple enterprise infrastructure platforms. Your core duties involve operating, maintaining, and fine-tuning infrastructure to guarantee its availability, optimal performance, and swift incident resolution.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver L2 and L3 infrastructure support for production, development/testing, and pre-production setups.
- Lead and assist a team comprising infrastructure analysts and coordinators.
- Conduct incident triage, root cause identification, and issue resolution.
- Engage in Change Advisory Board (CAB) discussions, handle escalation processes, and manage major incidents.
- Work alongside client teams to architect infrastructure solutions.
- Oversee infrastructure monitoring and suggest enhancements.
- Administer Windows systems including patch management.
- Keep technical documentation up to date.
- Adhere strictly to ITIL framework processes.
Required Skills and Experience
- Substantial expertise in Windows administration and patching.
- Proficient knowledge of VMware, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Familiarity with both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Ability to script using Terraform, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Experience with infrastructure performance and monitoring tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL version 4 certification.
- Background in managed services environments.
- Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code methodologies.
- Capability to develop proofs of concept.
Additional Criteria
This position requires candidates to be Australian Citizens with active security clearance due to the sensitive nature of the work handled. Team members must be cleared to manage confidential information and uphold robust security standards.
The role requires flexibility to work shifts and be on call for addressing urgent incidents or performing off-hours deployments. The ability to adapt to these scheduling requirements is critical for service continuity and client satisfaction.
