About the Role and Organisation
Starting in Term 4, 2026, this permanent full-time position is based at Carnarvon Community College in Western Australia, an Independent Public School proud of its motto "Growing Excellence Together." The college is committed to student success through continuous growth, high standards, and collaborative effort among its community.
This role contributes significantly behind the scenes by providing comprehensive support in Human Resources (HR) and payroll operations, with some financial responsibilities. You will collaborate primarily with the Manager Corporate Services and the Executive Team.
Key Responsibilities and Attributes
- Deliver high-quality administrative support for HR and payroll processes.
- Carry out minor finance-related tasks as required.
- Demonstrate strong initiative, sound judgment, and excellent organizational capabilities.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-moving work environment while ensuring accuracy.
- Communicate clearly and maintain excellent interpersonal relationships.
- Work both independently and within teams with a strong focus on confidentiality.
Experience and Skills Desired
Ideal candidates will have relevant experience in school environments, although applicants with transferable skills from other sectors are welcome. Key competencies include understanding HR management systems, financial data analysis, and reporting.

Eligibility
