Residential Cleaner

About the Role

We are seeking a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to perform cleaning services at residential properties. This position involves move-in and move-out cleaning, rental turnover preparation, and general property readiness. Successful candidates will be professional, organized, experienced in residential cleaning, and capable of working autonomously in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend scheduled cleaning appointments at residential locations, specializing in move-in, move-out, and rental turnover cleaning.
• Execute comprehensive cleaning following company standards, covering kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living spaces, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
• Remove dust, dirt, debris, trash, and leftover items as necessary.
• Wipe down all relevant surfaces including counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and other high-touch areas.
• Perform floor care such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and cleaning.
• Clean interior of appliances when required, including refrigeration units, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers.
• Identify any areas that require additional cleaning, repairs, maintenance, junk removal, or further attention prior to inspections, showings, or tenant move-ins.
• Document work thoroughly with clear before-and-after photographs and videos.
• Provide detailed updates, notes, and communicate effectively with tenants, property owners, and internal staff after each assignment.
• Follow company instructions, checklists, access protocols, and appointment details accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in roles such as cleaner, housekeeper, cleaning contractor, or residential cleaning specialist.
• Strong understanding of residential cleaning standards.
• Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel between properties.
• Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each job.
• Comfort with attending properties independently and working with minimal supervision.
• Smartphone with high-quality camera (iPhone 13 or comparable) for capturing work documentation.
• Proficient in taking clear photographs and videos to document cleaning outcomes.
• Excellent written communication skills for submitting detailed work reports.
• Professionalism, punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow step-by-step cleaning checklists and access instructions.
• Ability to communicate courteously and effectively with tenants, property owners, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning procedures.
• Experience preparing residential properties for showings, inspections, or tenant occupancy.
• Ability to identify issues such as damage, maintenance needs, junk, pest concerns, or access problems.
• Prior fieldwork with property management, cleaning, maintenance, or home services organizations.
