About the Role
Our client seeks a dependable and meticulous Cleaner to service residential rental units with tasks including move-in/move-out sanitation, rental turnover cleaning, and preparation for listing. The organization supports landlords by accelerating leasing, minimizing vacancies, and efficiently screening applicants, leveraging advanced proprietary technology. They advertise rentals across MLS and over 20 platforms, managing all aspects from listing to tenant move-in.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to residential rental properties to perform cleaning assignments such as move-in/move-out cleans, turnovers, and preparing units for listings.
- Execute comprehensive residential cleaning aligned with company standards, covering kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, appliances, floors, surfaces, cabinets, and fixtures.
- Eliminate dust, dirt, garbage, debris, and leftover materials as needed.
- Wipe down surfaces, counters, sinks, mirrors, doors, baseboards, and frequently touched areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors thoroughly.
- Clean inside appliances including refrigerators, stoves, ovens, microwaves, dishwashers, washers, and dryers where required.
- Detect areas needing additional cleaning, junk removal, repairs, maintenance, or follow-up and report accordingly.
- Capture clear before-and-after photographs and videos of properties and cleaning results.
- Submit detailed updates, notes, photos, and videos after each cleaning session.
- Maintain professional communication with landlords, applicants, tenants where relevant, and internal teams.
- Adhere to company instructions, cleaning checklists, access protocols, and appointment specifics.
Additional Routine Duties May Include
- Move-in and move-out cleaning tasks.
- Rental turnover cleaning.
- Deep cleaning services.
- Clean various areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, floors, dusting, cabinets, drawers, windowsills, baseboards.
- Removal of garbage and light debris.
- Ensure readiness for listings, showings, inspections, or occupancy.
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning roles such as cleaner, housekeeper, residential cleaner, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of residential cleaning standards.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Possession of necessary cleaning supplies and equipment for each assignment.
- Ability to independently attend rental properties.
- Smartphone (iPhone 13 or equivalent) equipped with a high-quality camera capable of capturing detailed photos and videos.
- Competence in recording clear photographic evidence and writing precise notes and updates post-visit.
- Self-motivated with minimal supervision required.
- Professional demeanor including punctuality, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Capability to follow detailed instructions, checklists, and property access guidelines.
- Effective and respectful communication skills with landlords, applicants, tenants if applicable, and coworkers.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience specifically with move-in, move-out, or rental turnover cleaning.
- Familiarity with preparing rental properties for photographs, showings, inspections, or tenant move-in.
- Ability to identify property damages, maintenance issues, junk removal needs, pest problems, access obstacles, or unsafe conditions.
- Previous independent field work experience with property management, leasing, cleaning, or home services firms.
