About the Role

As a Human Resources Manager, you will play a vital role in guiding employee relations and recruitment, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws while fostering career growth and an inclusive team culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead employee relations and recruitment efforts, ensuring adherence to company policies and federal/state regulations.
- Manage and develop HR administrators and generalists, setting department goals, objectives, and improvements.
- Provide guidance and resources to managers and employees on workplace issues, conflicts, and counseling needs.
- Assist in developing and implementing HR policies, maintaining the employee handbook, and overseeing training programs.
- Conduct regular plant tours and audits related to attendance, computer use, and HR records compliance.
- Handle unemployment claims and legal matters in coordination with legal counsel, participating in hearings as needed.
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, including using external recruiting resources as necessary.
- Recommend new hires and disciplinary actions up to termination, supporting various HR functions as required.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 6 years of human resources experience with extensive training or hands-on expertise in recruiting and employee relations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills combined with excellent interpersonal abilities.
- Proven multitasking, organization, prioritization, and attention to detail capabilities.
- Ability to work independently with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Experienced in continuous improvement tools and strong customer and client focus.
- Proficient in productivity software including Microsoft Office and WebEx conferencing.
- Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills to mentor employees across all levels.
- Effective negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, planning, and project management skills.
- Comfortable collaborating and influencing cross-functional leaders in a multicultural environment.
- Sound financial understanding and risk analysis aptitude.
Additional Information
- Position operates on a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Shift 1).
- Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, influenced by experience, skills, and certifications.
