About the Role

Excel Recruitment is searching for a Retail HR Manager based in Dublin to collaborate closely with operational leaders within a growing retail organisation. Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside operational leaders to align with business goals and implement people-related initiatives.
• Deliver expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and legal employment matters.
• Lead strategies for recruiting, onboarding new hires, and employee retention.
• Facilitate leadership development programs and succession planning.
• Promote employee engagement and nurture positive workplace culture.
• Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and absence management rigorously.
• Design and enforce HR policies grounded in best practice.
• Analyse HR data and metrics, offering insights that inform decision-making.
• Support organizational change efforts and expansion projects.
• Establish robust connections with managers and staff at all levels.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or senior HR professional.
• Background in retail, hospitality, FMCG, or other dynamic operational sectors.
• Deep understanding of Irish employment laws.
• Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement and communication.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing employee relations.
• Strong capacity for coaching, influencing, and leadership.
• A CIPD qualification is advantageous.
