About the Role
Excel Recruitment is searching for a Retail HR Manager based in Dublin to collaborate closely with operational leaders within a growing retail organisation. This role presents a prime opportunity for an ambitious HR professional eager to cultivate strong partnerships, enhance talent growth, and foster a culture of high performance.
The position offers a competitive salary between €70,000 and €75,000 depending on experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package. You will have substantial influence in shaping and developing high-performing teams across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Work alongside operational leaders to align with business goals and implement people-related initiatives.
- Deliver expert advice on employee relations, performance management, and legal employment matters.
- Lead strategies for recruiting, onboarding new hires, and employee retention.
- Facilitate leadership development programs and succession planning.
- Promote employee engagement and nurture positive workplace culture.
- Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and absence management rigorously.
- Design and enforce HR policies grounded in best practice.
- Analyse HR data and metrics, offering insights that inform decision-making.
- Support organizational change efforts and expansion projects.
- Establish robust connections with managers and staff at all levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Business Partner, or senior HR professional.
- Background in retail, hospitality, FMCG, or other dynamic operational sectors.
- Deep understanding of Irish employment laws.
- Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement and communication.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing employee relations.
- Strong capacity for coaching, influencing, and leadership.
- A CIPD qualification is advantageous.
