Overview
Qatar Airways' Doha Contact Centre is currently recruiting Customer Services Agents to join their esteemed 5-star team. This role involves delivering high-quality support to customers speaking Spanish, German, and Italian, while also assisting English-speaking clients. The position engages multiple communication channels including telephone, email, and web chat to uphold exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound customer inquiries professionally, promoting and selling Qatar Airways’ products and services.
- Create and modify reservations, provide accurate fare quotes, and manage ticket issuance and reissuance in accordance with policies.
- Manage various products and service requests, escalating complex issues to senior team members as necessary.
- Support activities related to E-commerce, Trade, and Frequent Flyer programs.
- Process ticket refunds efficiently.
Training and Benefits
New hires will undergo an extensive training period composed of five weeks of classroom instruction followed by four weeks of hands-on training focusing on the Amadeus Global Distribution System and Qatar Airways' products and policies. Candidate Profile
- Minimum education: High school diploma with at least one year of customer service experience.
- Experience with GDS systems (especially Amadeus) or certifications such as IATA or Airline Basic Tariff is advantageous.
- Proficient computer skills and typing ability.
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in English plus German, Spanish, or Italian.
- Strong active listening abilities and capacity to manage calls in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- A personable, customer-focused demeanor with adaptability and resilience under pressure.
- Openness to learning new concepts and flexibility to work shifts, including nights.
