Role Overview
This front-line retail banking role is centered on creating a strong customer experience, deepening client relationships, and positioning the bank as the customer’s preferred financial partner. The position involves managing customer portfolios, expanding business through cross-sell opportunities, maintaining smooth operations, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. It contributes directly to customer satisfaction and branch performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Interact with customers every day to support growth in current accounts, savings accounts, and term deposits, while also promoting assets, wealth offerings, retail trade forex, and credit cards.
- Work toward the business goals outlined in the performance scorecard.
- Recommend solutions based on customer needs and the bank’s product suite.
- Evaluate customer potential and improve product adoption across each relationship.
- Create referrals and generate incremental business from the existing customer base.
- Respond quickly and effectively to customer questions, issues, and complaints.
- Follow banking rules and internal standards related to AML, KYC, and data and information security.
- Support closure of audit points and maintain compliance standards.
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in internal audits and help ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational guidelines.
- Deliver high-quality service that builds loyalty and encourages customer retention.
Education and Experience
- A graduate degree in any discipline is required.
- An MBA is preferred.
- The role expects 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in banking or a related sector.
