Role Overview
Tesco Ireland is seeking a Line Manager based in Mullingar to oversee and support a department and its team, ensuring an excellent shopping experience for customers. This leadership position focuses on motivating the team, maintaining high standards, and achieving key department goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach team members to provide outstanding customer service, maintain standards, and ensure product availability.
- Achieve departmental KPIs by managing daily operations effectively.
- Make daily decisions that empower and facilitate your team to perform their roles effectively.
- Implement and oversee training programs, ensuring all colleagues are adequately trained, validated, and have current training certification.
- Accurately complete departmental processes, routines, and systems punctually.
- Plan and execute seasonal, promotional, and trade-driving activities to maximize sales and visual impact.
- Ensure safe and legal operational routines are followed and address any issues proactively.
- Set clear objectives for colleagues, conduct regular reviews, career conversations, and maintain up-to-date personal development plans.
- Provide regular coaching and constructive feedback to continually enhance team skills and performance.
- Create a work environment fostering innovation, personal growth, and enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
