Role Overview
JD Logistics seeks a strategic and seasoned Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth within Germany. The candidate must have substantial expertise in logistics and be proficient in German.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive market research to pinpoint growth prospects and analyze competitive dynamics within the German logistics sector.
- Develop and execute plans to acquire new clients and broaden our customer network in Germany.
- Build and maintain strategic collaborations with both local and global logistics partners.
- Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at meeting revenue goals and strengthening market presence.
- Work collaboratively with operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent service quality.
- Evaluate sales figures and market developments to improve strategies and provide progress updates to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated success in business development positions within the logistics industry.
- Deep familiarity with the German logistics market and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership capabilities.
- Fluency in both German and English required; proficiency in additional languages is advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related discipline.
