About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Creative Strategist based in Canada to develop innovative, performance-driven advertising campaigns. This remote position centers on direct-response marketing, aiming to elevate consumer brands through strategic creativity combined with data insights and AI-enhanced tools. The role involves end-to-end ownership of creative strategy, from thorough market and customer research to guiding production and refining campaigns based on analytics, collaborating closely with creative teams.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive customer research to identify audience behaviors, needs, and purchasing triggers.
Examine competitors and market trends to discover new creative angles and opportunities.
Design creative strategies including hooks, messaging frameworks, and positioning to boost engagement.
Craft compelling scripts for various ad formats such as short videos, long-form sales letters, AI-generated user-generated content, and static ads.
Develop direct-response marketing content like landing pages, advertorials, and listicles.
Prepare detailed creative briefs clarifying objectives, concepts, and execution instructions.
Partner with video editors, designers, and copywriters to ensure alignment of assets with strategic goals.
Analyze campaign performance data to identify success factors or areas needing improvement.
Continuously refine messaging and concepts through insights from testing and analytics.
Utilize AI tools to speed up research, idea generation, scriptwriting, and workflow processes, balanced with human strategic input.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Creative Strategy, Performance Marketing, Direct Response Copywriting, or related roles focused on direct-to-consumer brands.
Demonstrated success in developing and scaling Meta advertising campaigns.
Deep expertise in direct-response advertising principles and performance marketing techniques.
Proven history of effective collaboration with video editors, designers, and copywriters.
Strong analytical skills to interpret creative performance and apply learnings effectively.
Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.
Comfort and experience working with AI tools for research and content creation in creative projects.
Strategic thinker with the ability to conceptualize before execution.
Independent work ethic with strong ownership of projects and prioritization skills.
Able to provide at least 6 hours of overlap in working hours between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM GMT+3.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Background in industries such as supplements, health, beauty, apparel, or lifestyle consumer products.
Experience producing AI-generated user-generated content advertisements.
Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager and Meta Ad Library platforms.
Knowledge of direct-response frameworks like AIDA, PAS, or value-driven offers.
Experience with AI creative software including ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Midjourney, Runway, or similar.

Compensation and Benefits

Fully remote position with flexible working arrangements.
Competitive monthly salary ranging from $3000 to $4500.
