Key Responsibilities
- Assemble customer orders promptly and precisely from various temperature-controlled areas, ensuring item quantities and codes match.
- Maintain high product quality by selecting fresh items and removing any damaged goods. Complete all picking and shipping paperwork accurately.
- Pack orders efficiently to optimize use of space without compromising product condition or safety.
- Balance order fulfillment duties with positive interactions, assisting customers and resolving any issues.
- Ensure a clean, safe workspace by following hygiene and safety standards, promptly addressing spills, and sanitizing totes before use. Use equipment safely and perform necessary safety inspections.
- Contribute flexibility in scheduling with willingness to work shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Work Environment Challenges
- Manage a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining energy, especially during overnight shifts.
- Perform physical activities including prolonged standing, bending, and lifting supplies up to 20 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Carry out repetitive stocking, zoning, and organizing tasks with careful attention to detail to maintain store standards.
