To support its strategic growth, they are seeking a Manufacturing Director to lead their production operations, focusing on enhancing efficiency, quality, and continual development.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement comprehensive manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Manage operations across multiple production sites or extensive manufacturing facilities.
• Set and monitor operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and production targets.
• Initiate programs to boost productivity, enhance quality, and reduce costs.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing practices and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Supervise departments including engineering, maintenance, production planning, and manufacturing processes.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental regulations and quality standards.
• Oversee manufacturing budgets and lead capital investment projects effectively.
• Drive the deployment of manufacturing technologies and automation improvements.
• Foster leadership development and succession planning to build strong teams.
• Work collaboratively with senior executives on strategic plans and growth opportunities.
• Report manufacturing performance metrics and provide strategic recommendations to top management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Advanced credentials such as an MBA or postgraduate qualification preferred.
• Over 15 years of escalating leadership experience in manufacturing environments.
• Proven track record managing large-scale manufacturing operations.
• In-depth knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma methodologies, and Operational Excellence.
• Strong commercial insight with expertise in finance and strategic business planning.
• Excellent leadership qualities and executive-level communication skills.
• Experience working within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region's manufacturing sector is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory.
