Cleaner / Custodian - Day Shift

About the Role

Join Uline's Toronto branch as a Day Shift Cleaner / Custodian responsible for maintaining pristine warehouse facilities, grounds, and employee workspaces. Uline, a leading distributor of industrial and packaging materials, emphasizes world-class facility upkeep alongside its quality service.

Work Schedule

• Available shifts: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• No overnight shifts required.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting of racks, yard, and building maintenance.
• Manage trash disposal and process corrugated scraps using a compactor.
• Clean restroom facilities thoroughly.
• Operate floor scrubbers (electric or propane) and related cleaning machinery.
• Set up and tidy employee work areas.
• Support meeting room preparation and cleanup.
• Carry out general cleaning and labor tasks to support operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
• Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning services is essential.
• Physical ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
