About the Role
Join Uline's Toronto branch as a Day Shift Cleaner / Custodian responsible for maintaining pristine warehouse facilities, grounds, and employee workspaces. Uline, a leading distributor of industrial and packaging materials, emphasizes world-class facility upkeep alongside its quality service.
Work Schedule
- Available shifts: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- No overnight shifts required.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting of racks, yard, and building maintenance.
- Manage trash disposal and process corrugated scraps using a compactor.
- Clean restroom facilities thoroughly.
- Operate floor scrubbers (electric or propane) and related cleaning machinery.
- Set up and tidy employee work areas.
- Support meeting room preparation and cleanup.
- Carry out general cleaning and labor tasks to support operational needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Demonstrated strong attention to detail.
- Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning services is essential.
- Physical ability to lift or move items up to 50 pounds.
