About the Role
The Westin Hotels & Resorts, part of the Marriott International group, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being of guests, offering a people-centered environment to grow your career. We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Handyperson to join our engineering and maintenance team at our Melbourne location, located at 205 Collins Street, Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance and upkeep tasks throughout the property including guest rooms and public spaces
- Assist the Engineering and Maintenance department with various operational duties
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, providing engaging and inspiring service experiences
- Carry out timely repairs on building fixtures and equipment
- Build strong relationships with guests to deliver memorable and distinctive experiences encouraging future visits
Candidate Profile
- Possess relevant background in general maintenance or property upkeep, preferably within hotel, facility, residential, or commercial settings
- Hold valid working rights in Australia
- Demonstrate enthusiasm for personal and career development
- Self-driven, highly motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Approach challenges with innovative solutions and a positive, can-do mindset
