Role Overview
As a Business Development Associate, you'll drive the expansion of KaChick's luxury brand clientele across Asia. This client-facing position involves deep engagement with premium brand needs, fostering relationships, and influencing how top brands manage photography, video production, visual merchandising, and VIP/VIC experiential events regionally.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research to identify potential luxury, beauty, fashion, wine, beverage, and premium lifestyle clients along with relevant agencies and partners in key Asian markets.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and event participation.
- Initiate and manage conversations with decision-makers in brand, marketing, retail, CRM, and experience teams, presenting KaChick’s service offerings.
- Perform discovery calls to grasp campaign objectives, schedules, markets, and budgets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to formulate proposals, case studies, and tailored solutions meeting client requirements.
- Assist in follow-ups, address queries, and support commercial negotiations with senior leadership.
- Maintain long-term client and agency partner relationships, closely monitor ongoing projects to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Collect client feedback and market insights to enhance KaChick's service positioning and strategy.
- Monitor trends in luxury, beauty, premium food and beverage, retail experience, and event marketing sectors across Asia.
- Contribute to refining outreach messaging and pitch content to effectively engage premium brand decision-makers.
- Work with marketing to improve KaChick's brand narrative, client case studies, and promotional materials.
Candidate Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of experience in business development, account management, partnerships, or client-facing roles.
- Background in creative production, event management, or brand activation projects.
- Familiar with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and sales outreach techniques.
- Previous experience in agencies, production firms, or premium services preferred.
- Excellent communication abilities and strong relationship-building skills.
- Experience engaging with luxury, beauty, fashion, wine, beverage, retail, or experiential brands.
- Comfortable liaising with various stakeholders including brands, marketing teams, agencies, and production partners.
- Passionate about luxury, beauty, fashion, premium food and beverages, and related brand experiences.
- Highly organized, proactive, and adept at managing numerous prospects and follow-up activities.
- Capable of working across diverse Asian markets and collaborating with distributed teams.
- Proficiency in English required; additional Asian languages are advantageous.
