Key Responsibilities
- Achieve targeted secondary sales goals consistently.
- Define and set objectives for Area Workforce (AW).
- Break down objectives for Area Workforce Sales Members (AWSM) on a beat-wise basis.
- Communicate sales objectives regularly to the AW team.
- Track progress of objectives periodically to evaluate performance.
- Manage the Area Workforce by aligning, motivating, and supporting them to fulfill business goals.
- Ensure proper infrastructure and systems are in place for operations.
- Serve as a commercial link between the AW team and Britannia Industries Limited.
- Coach, manage, and assess the AWSM's performance, providing on-the-job training on sales processes and company best practices.
- Help resolve territory-specific issues through guidance and support.
- Maintain required service levels in the market and expand business in current and new retail outlets.
- Strengthen service at dealer points and maintain strong dealer relationships.
- Increase product distribution depth and reach per dealer.
- Identify and prospect new retail outlets for business expansion.
- Carry out activations planned by Area Sales Manager (ASM).
- Execute merchandising and visibility implementation, adhering to Plan-O-Gram guidelines.
- Implement primary and secondary merchandising activities effectively.
- Launch new consumer promotions, trade schemes, and new products smoothly through communication and sampling strategies.
- Communicate trade schemes effectively to AWSM to ensure proper sell-in at dealer points.
- Track and review the performance of new products and promotional schemes.
- Collect and report comprehensive market intelligence including competitor activities, promotions, service days, off-take data, pricing, new product launches, and visibility.
- Maintain records and systems such as PJP data, Management Information System (MIS) reporting, and ensure operation as the hub of UDAAN program.
- Represent Britannia in handling consumer complaints by visiting customers to resolve quality issues and updating the quality department on complaint status.
