Job Overview

Join Reliance Industries Limited as a Manager in Finance & Budgeting based in Jamnagar, Gujarat. This role focuses on budget validation, monitoring, and analysis to support financial planning and control within operations.

Key Responsibilities

Review and validate the Annual Operational Plan and associated variable and fixed cost budgets prepared by the operations and planning teams before the commencement of the financial year.
Conduct budget allocation according to the approved Annual Operational Plan at the beginning of each year to ensure seamless business operations.
Develop and present regular MIS reports on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis that compare actual costs against budgeted amounts, specifically focusing on fixed costs.
Perform variance analysis and request explanations from the operations and planning teams regarding discrepancies for each cost category.
Coordinate with operations and planning teams to obtain prior approvals for additional budget allocations when costs exceed the budgeted amounts.
