Job Overview
Join Reliance Industries Limited as a Manager in Finance & Budgeting based in Jamnagar, Gujarat. This role focuses on budget validation, monitoring, and analysis to support financial planning and control within operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and validate the Annual Operational Plan and associated variable and fixed cost budgets prepared by the operations and planning teams before the commencement of the financial year.
- Conduct budget allocation according to the approved Annual Operational Plan at the beginning of each year to ensure seamless business operations.
- Develop and present regular MIS reports on a weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis that compare actual costs against budgeted amounts, specifically focusing on fixed costs.
- Perform variance analysis and request explanations from the operations and planning teams regarding discrepancies for each cost category.
- Coordinate with operations and planning teams to obtain prior approvals for additional budget allocations when costs exceed the budgeted amounts.
