Job description

Role Overview

As a Wireless Sales Consultant, you’ll play a key part in shaping a strong customer experience within the wireless area. This role supports a culture of learning and growth by helping customers and colleagues with wireless knowledge, product insights, and service guidance. The position is primarily sales-focused and contributes to both consumer and business customer success by recommending the right wireless solutions, products, and trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build connections with customers, uncover wireless and wireline sales opportunities, and help turn those opportunities into sales.
  • Deliver a high level of service by understanding customer needs, demonstrating strong product knowledge, and suggesting relevant add-on products and services.
  • Follow up with customers after interactions to gather feedback and encourage additional purchases that add value.
  • Work closely with the store team to promote offers, generate excitement around wireless products, and support referrals.
  • Work toward and achieve individual sales targets.
  • Keep merchandising displays aligned with company standards, including accurate and current pricing.
  • Follow asset protection practices and maintain privacy requirements.
  • Stay informed using internal communication tools such as the mobile app, intranet, and bulletin boards.
  • Handle customer issues effectively and bring matters to management when needed.

Qualifications

  • Between 3 months and 1 year of experience in wireless sales or another sales role.
  • Strong customer-service mindset with a clear focus on helping people.
  • Proven selling skills and the ability to influence purchasing decisions.
  • Ability to guide or coach others when needed.
  • Comfortable communicating with clients through different channels and formats.
  • Good planning, prioritization, and organization skills to manage daily work and customer needs.
  • Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new tools and products.
  • Curious, approachable, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented.
