Role overview
The Supply Chain Replenishment Analyst is responsible for helping ensure the business has the appropriate inventory in the right location and at the right time to support both B2B and B2C customers. This role calls for someone who is meticulous, proactive, highly organized, and comfortable using data and analysis to guide inventory decisions. Close partnership with cross-functional groups such as Merchandising and external vendor partners is a key part of keeping operations running smoothly and meeting inventory objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Track and oversee inventory positions across domestic and imported merchandise.
- Balance inventory decisions with budget expectations while maintaining strong in-stock levels and fill rates.
- Drive inventory turnover goals to improve product movement and lower carrying costs.
- Put measures in place to limit overstocks, reduce out-of-stock situations, and strengthen overall turnover performance.
- Regularly review forecast accuracy and refine it by accounting for seasonal trends and promotional events.
- Create and carry out replenishment plans that support product launches, transitions, and new programs.
- Use analytical systems and data insights to support replenishment and inventory planning decisions.
Required background and skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a similar discipline is preferred.
- Understanding of both domestic and import supply chain workflows.
- Previous experience in inventory management or supply chain replenishment.
- Exposure to business intelligence or decision-support tools.
- Ability to work with supply chain replenishment or inventory management software and related analytical tools.
